Just wanted to give an update on my progress with my Apo 3D Tutorial. Originally I intended t to be a short "this is how I made this image" kind of thing. As I started the planning phase on paper, I realized this tutorial needed to be epic. I have all the tools necessary to create this work, but unsure of the best way to organize it. There are some things with Apo 3D I have yet to fully understand in terms of ways to utilize some of the variations. I have a feeling that there are many wonderful things this version is capable of.
I had to take some time away from my Apo work because my wife was bitten earlier last summer by a deer tick (but didn't know it) and contracted Lyme's disease, but it went undiagnosed for almost 7 months. She ended up in the hospital for a while because the infection was attacking her heart, and it surely would have taken her life (she's only 29). I'm grateful for the doctor that had the foresight to do the test for the infection. She was released from the hospital after a week and I spent the holidays caring for her because we could do at-home care for administering the IV antibiotics she needed. She has recovered nicely and is getting her strength back.
Now I have the time to devote to my tutorial. So here's what I need: I welcome any Apo artist who has messed with Apo 3D to share techniques that I can duplicate for this tutorial. I will give full credit to all contributors who's ideas/techniques I use for this. Once I have a draft version beta tested, credit will be added for the testers to the final product.
My goal for this is to have fun creating a tutorial (if such a thing can be achieved) and give an opportunity for the Apo community to be invovlved with it.
